The Opportunity:
The Accounting Manager reports to the CFO, is responsible for overseeing the accounting department functions with a focus on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting, executing and coordinating the activities of accounts payables, inventory control, treasury, tax and accounting as well as developing the department capabilities to keep up with the company’s growth and business needs.

Your Impact:
Oversee general accounting functions including amongst others: accounts payable, treasury/banking, inventory control, general ledger and taxes
Coordinate and oversee monthly closing activity including month-end reports, schedules, payments and receipts
Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Routine account analysis and reconciliations to ensure appropriate balances are reflected in Keystone’s financial statements
Maintain lead responsibility for planning, preparation, and execution of the financial audit process with the goal of timely completion of audit
Prepare monthly divisional P&Ls to measure profitability across the company’s business units
Supervise and process payroll and commissions
Direct the tax accounting activity, ensuring various tax returns and reports are filed appropriately in coordination with outside tax consultants (including submission of required documentation)
Perform and coordinate various banking responsibilities such as disbursements, reconciliations, debt covenant compliance certifications
Responsible for banking transactions, including wire processing, ACH and positive pay procedures
Routine account analysis and reconciliations to ensure appropriate balances are reflected in Keystone’s financial statements
Report company’s sales and other data to affiliated buying groups
Oversee inventory valuation and related physical inventory activities
Create and monitor an effective system of internal control
Maintain and collect foreign supplier insurance certificates
Assists CFO with special projects
Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
What you bring:
Valid CPA qualification preferred (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
10+ years of working experience in the accounting field
Experience in distribution business or business selling goods/inventory preferred
Payroll experience preferred, including processing and oversight of payroll functions
General Ledger Software experience (Epicor/Prophet 21 preferred)
Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel)
Detail-oriented and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent documentation and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong managerial and/or leadership skills
